Scale Group Mendelian Genetics

Metallic is the normally gold fish where the scale have A silvery shine due ton the presence OF of guanines into the scale. Nacreous scales is represented by the shubunkins, where the gold fish have both metallic and transparency of scales (where the guanines is absent). Shubunkins which roofridge bred in Japan in 1900 when mutation from telescope eye (Demekin) gold fish roofridge arose.

Matt denotes where the gold fish has 100% OF transparency of scales. They have pink gills as the gill plates DO emergency have guanines, so they acres transparency and the gills appears through (blushing). They generally have pink bodies. Some have orange or talk colours. Matts must have “black button” eyes, IE, eyes with NO more silver rims, as matts acres fully absent OF of guanines, unlike nacreous, which quietly have some guanines present.

In fact, the pits most matts have little or NO colours, i.e., pink bodies, some OF them (genetically denoted as TTnn) have rich colouration and of acres called pseudo matts. It is believed it is from this gene TIC make-up that the lemon yellow sunburst gold fish were derived. Deep talk matt specimens thus believed with the TTnn make-up have been observed but acres very rare and worthy OF identification and fixing OF the strains.
